Satisfactory hosting starts at $20/mo — Shared from $20/mo and Loafbox from $30/mo on the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D fleet with DDR5 RAM. Late-game megafactories get CPU- and RAM-heavy as production lines sprawl, so for a big save we recommend Loafbox 2 or higher.
What's the difference between Loafbox and Shared?
Loafbox dedicates threads to your server, keeping the simulation stable as your factory grows into thousands of machines, belts, and trains. Shared uses unlimited CPU allocation on the same 7950X3D fleet — fine for an early-game world or a small co-op group.
How do I claim my server and become admin?
Satisfactory servers are claimed in-game. After your server deploys (about 60 seconds), add it in the in-game Server Manager, claim it, and set the admin password. From there you create a session and manage settings — the game is balanced around small co-op groups, but you can adjust the player cap in settings.
Can I upload my existing Satisfactory save?
Yes. Upload your save file through the LPV5 File Manager or over SFTP, load it from the in-game Server Manager, and your factory carries on where you left off. Download the server's save the same way to keep a local copy.
Are backups and auto-restarts included?
Yes. Every server gets the full LPV5 treatment: versioned and scheduled backups with one-click restore, the Server Auto-Restarter for scheduled restarts and crash recovery, a live console, and sub-users with granular permissions.
Where are the servers located?
Loafbox is hosted in Montreal, Canada and Frankfurt, Germany. Shared runs in New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Frankfurt for North America and EU coverage. The Frankfurt location adds $8/mo on Loafbox and $15/mo on Shared.
Does Satisfactory hosting include DDoS protection?
Loafbox plans include Terabit.io L4/L7 DDoS protection at no extra cost. Shared plans include basic DDoS protection — Terabit.io DDoS protection is not included on Shared.
